A not so happy update.

As you have seen I have been silent for a while, there has been a lot on my plate and I was trying to handle it but it has become very hard as I seem to also be carrying a lot of people with the same stress and I am about to break.
On March 5 Dad (not my natural father but I call him Dad) was diagnosed with LEMS (Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome) and also lung cancer, from there we knew it was going to be hard times ahead but we seen the future bright. March 13th (happened to be a Friday also) we found out that he also had 2 tumours in the brain. I like to keep positive but the reality is that Dad will only be here for a few more months.
He is coming home from hospital today from a three day chemo treatment and we are all crossing our fingers the chemo will help some.
The last weeks have been a stress, I can not even put it into words and this weekend I have to try to explain to my 9 year old what is happening to her grandfather (Opa), it was only November when her Great Grand mother passed over and for the last year my best friend has been fighting breast cancer, I do not know how she is going to react, I still do not know what to tell her, she can see Opa is sick from the LEMS because he is unable to do as much as he use to but to tell her that he has cancer is not easy, I even think I do not tell her that part, I really do not know, AARRGGG I just do not know!

Clearing out.

My lovely shoes are going, do not panic not all of them! all my boots and stilettos are staying.
I have some open toe shoes that have to do, they do not go with anything I own.
I shall be taking pics of them soon to let you know how bad my taste use to be all that time ago (they are only 1 and 2 years old!)
Anyway, who is up for a shopping trip with me?
Who is going to slip the new shoes on and off my feet while walking store to store, ohh I am well overdue for a shoe shopping spree, all I need is the credit card and the sub to carry all the bags!

For Valentines I had someone send me an Amazon voucher, thank you for that but there is a problem, I have no clue what to get with it. Ok Shoes I can always use more shoes, goodness me I am starting to drool thinking about it, then I think, well I am always buying shoes and yes my goal is to own over 365 of them and because of me buying shoes I put off other things I want to buy.
I have wanted a portable DVD player for ever and a day, it will help me pass the boredom on long trips I have and I have many many downloaded movies I have not seen because of no time yet on the long trips I can watch them, great idea right?
So my question is this, would the person who gave me a voucher be offended if I get something like a portable DVD player instead? and if not, who is giving me another voucher to pay for the outstanding amount? **chuckles**
